Gemma and Steve from having worked with LUSU Sports in previous roles within their careers, know what’s on offer from bespoke training, consultancy, inclusive kit and equipment and access to LUSU Shop, TV and membership and is effective in benefiting communities, partners and systems in Stockport to be inclusive of people with a range of disabilities. From having worked in Stockport and Greater Manchester, coupled with their own knowledge and skills gained from their careers, the vision for a CIC was discussed, formulated and launched in July 2025.
 

It’s the flexible approach of LUSU Sports to work with people, partner with organisations, clubs and groups to come up with solutions to help every person be active, get involved, join in and gain success from taking part in sport / physical activity that spoke to us as people partnering with them, wanting to impact Stockport as a place and it's people.
